Abstract: Background Cow milk which is sometimes consumed raw host a plethora of microorganisms of beneficial or food safety concern. The draft genome of an extended-spectrum β-Lactamase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae strain Cow102, isolated from cow milk used for production of traditional foods in Nigeria, is reported.
