Genotype diversity assessment of common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis L.) based on chlorophyll and carotenoids partitioning among different plant organs

Abstract: What is already known on this subject?• A strong variability is noticed in the population of snowdrops on natural sites. Many of these differences remain stable over generations.• The present work serves for characterisation of these differences among various snowdrop groups.What is the expected impact on horticulture?• Observed differences are a very important basis for the future work with snowdrops regarding selection, biotechnology, etc. These differences induce an industry.
