Genotyping of Malassezia pachydermatis disclosed genetic variation in isolates from dogs in Colombia

Abstract: Malassezia pachydermatis is a lipophilic and lipid-dependent yeast mostly isolated from animals’ skin; hence, it is regarded as a zoophilic species causing otitis externa in dogs.
