“…We believe that the Pur-Banera F I G U R E 1 1 (a) Plot of εNd t versus U-Pb ages for the Malola granite (this study) and coeval granitoids from other cratons. Data are shown for the Berach high-potassium granitoids (HKG) and Berach high-magnesium granitoids (HMG) in the Aravalli Craton (Rahaman et al, 2019), potassic granites (Pandey, Bhattacharya, Sastry, & Pandey, 2011), and sanukitoids (Singh et al, 2019) in the Bundelkhand Craton, the Closepet granite in the Dharwar Craton (Jayananda, Martin, Peucat, & Mahabaleswar, 1995), and potassic granites in the Congo Craton (Tchameni, Mezger, Nsifa, & Pouclet, 2000). Neodymium isotopic evolution curves for depleted mantle (DM) and Chondritic Uniform Reservoir (CHUR) are from DePaolo (1987).…”

“…In both the Aravalli and the Bundelkhand cratons, Neoarchaean quartz diorites, hybrid granites, and sanukitoids formed by mixing between mafic melts derived from an enriched mantle (influenced by prior subduction) and anatectic melts of the crust (Kaur et al, 2016(Kaur et al, , 2019Singh et al, 2019). Whereas the Berach granitoids represent significant juvenile crust generation (Mondal & Raza, 2013;Rahaman et al, 2019), the geographically proximal Malola granite represents anatectic reworking of lower continental crust (cf. Verma, 1999), in the same long-lived subduction zone.…”
