Abstract:In this study the chemical analysis of groundwater in Yurubcheno-Tokhomo hydrocarbon accumulation zone (YTHAZ) was carried out. The analysis revealed that fresh, brackish, saline waters and brines of various chemical types occur in the study area. Water salinity increases with the depth, but this dependency is not observed in Vendian and Riphean oil and gas deposits.
