The majority of well~ in t h e county are u ~ ed for d ome~ti c a ncl stock suppli es, but the largest \Vithdrawals of water are for mu nicipal and Industrial supplies. Municipal pumpage in the co unty in 1968 was about 1.5 billion gallons • industria l pumpage wa about 1.8 billion gallons a nd m ost of the water wa~ obtained from t he Jordan aquifer.
