Geology and mineral deposits of an area in the Departments of Antioquia and Caldas (Subzone IIB), Colombia

Abstract: The Inventario Minero Nacional (IMN), a four-year cooperative geologic mapping and mineral resources appraisal project, was accomplished under an agreement between the Republic of Colombia and the U. S. Agency for International Development from 1964 through 1969. Subzone IIB, consisting essentially of the east half of Zone II, o comprises nearly 20,000 km , principally in the Department of Antioquia, but including also small parts of the Departments of Caldas and Tolima.
