Geology and ore deposits of the Urals

Abstract: The Urals is a N-S trending mountain range forming the geographic boundary between Europe and Asia. It represents a 2000 km long Paleozoic orogen, extending from the Islands of Novaya Zemlya in the north to the Aral Sea in the south.
