The occurrence of scheelite, sphalerite, molybdenite, and other minerals, which are common in the roof pendant in the southeastern part of the primitive area, are geologically similar to economic deposits elsewhere in the Sierra Nevada (Krauskopf, 1953, andBateman, 1965) and may or may not eventually prove to be of important commercial interest.…”
