Geometría de los depósitos cuaternarios y actuales de la Bahía de Cartagena de Indias, Colombia

Abstract: RESUMENSe analizan trece perfiles del subsuelo en la Bahía de Cartagena de Indias realizados con un perfilador, utilizando una frecuencia de 10 kHz. Se describen los estratos encontrados en las distintas partes de la bahía. Se encontraron zonas con sedimentos superficiales muy duros que permitieron poca penetración en el área externa de Bocagrande y capas de alrededor de 10 a 12 m de espesor de lodos blandos que se depositaron sobre estructuras de base más duras.Algunas de las estructuras profundas son viejos … Show more
