Geometrical effects of exploding film on plasma formation

Abstract: Metallized polypropylene films (MPPF) can serve as an alternate for exploding wires in many applications. Compared to wires, MPPF is more structurally robust and can be shaped more easily for specific applications. If long films are desired, the film can be shaped to fit a variety of geometries.
