Geometrical Errors of Surfaces Milled with Convex and Concave Profile Tools

Abstract: The geometrical interpretation of the transformation of cylindrical milling of products into profile milling by shaping cutters with a convex and concave cutting profile is considered. A mathematical model of geometric errors of profile surfaces processed with tools with the specified cutting profiles is developed. On the basis of the model and the results of its analysis, scientifically based recommendations for designing a technological operation for profile milling of products have been developed. When proc… Show more

“…After, the release of the liquid product decreases sharply until the end of the measurement (5 seconds). According to Mettler et al [14,15] with a longer hold-up time of steam and gases in the pyrolysis chamber, the number of secondary reactions increases, as a result of which the production of gases, coal increases and the yield of liquid thermal decomposition products decreases [16,17] (refer with: Fig. 3).…”

“…Free screen sizing is amply discussed [9][10][11][12][13][14][15], while the behavior of difficult-to-sift particles on a sifting surface with parametric excitation remains yet poorly studied.…”

“…Increased dynamic activity of the technological system adversely affects the quality of the processed surface and the performance of the process [8][9][10][11][12]. The acute problem of processing products of low rigidity is in mechanical engineering, in particular, aircraft industry, woodworking, processing of other materials [13][14][15][16][17][18][19]. The above mentioned fully applies to woodworking, in particular, to the milling of the profile surfaces of the peripheral segments resulting from the cutting of logs [20][21][22][23][24].…”
