The wireless sensor network is widely used in the Internet of Things. As its core technology, the clustering routing algorithm effectively prolongs the network life cycle. An energy balance algorithm for heterogeneous wireless sensors based on bilevel decision and data distribution is proposed. Firstly, a more suitable cluster head is selected through the bilevel decision-making and competition mechanism. Secondly, A multi-objective decision-making strategy is used to synthesize multiple factors for data distribution. It can be seen from the simulation results that the routing algorithm has a great improvement in the network life cycle, energy utilization rate and data transmission.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have recently acquired prominence in a variety of applications such as remote monitoring and tracking. Since it is virtually hard to recharge the nodes in their remote deployment, also, the transmission of data from nodes to the base station requires a significant amount of energy. Thus, our research proposes a routing protocol, namely hybrid falcon-improved ACO Nature-Inspired Optimization using a deep learning model to reduce energy consumption while increases the network lifetime. In the developed model, initially, the falcon optimization technique is utilized to locate the best possible cluster heads in the quickest possible time. Furthermore, to improve the quality of service in routing optimization a new improved ACO has been proposed in which linear flexible operator and the premier operator are used to increasing the iteration speed. Finally, the optimum route is obtained through DBNN based on predicted energy. As a result, our proposed model gives a lifetime as 121 s and energy consumption as 0.041 J at 500 rounds when compared to the baseline approaches. Therefore, our proposed approaches provides better routing and improves the QoS as well as the energy consumption which increases the longevity of mobile nodes.

The constant demand to secure the location of an asset in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) has led to the need for the development of location privacy preservation mechanisms. Source location privacy preservation, particularly for a single source has received tantamount attention in the last few years, whereas very few schemes have been discussed for securing the location privacy of multiple sources. To address this issue, in this paper, we have proposed a red‐zone‐based angular routing technique to provide location privacy for multiple sources against local adversaries who continuously eavesdrop and backtrack the packets in the network. The proposed technique termed as red‐zone‐based randomized angular routing (Red‐RAR) establishes a red zone around all the source nodes exists in the network to divert the routing path of a source node away from other source nodes. The Red‐RAR algorithm consists of four different phases that contributes in moving the packets far away from the source and maximizes the path diversity to mislead the adversary. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated through extensive experiments. The experimental results reveal that Red‐RAR outperforms the current state of the art methods in terms of efficiency measured in safety period, capture percentage, and network lifetime for four source nodes.
