Many industrial processes require the use of efficient heat-transport devices in challenging environments. One solution is the use of passive devices that utilize multiphase flows. The aerospace sector is one industry where devices operate in normal gravity, microgravity, and hyper-gravity conditions. The study demonstrates the use of two different pulsating heat pipe geometries subjected to normal and hypergravity conditions (acceleration from 1g to 8g). The working fluid used was HFE-7000 at volumetric filling ratios of 44% and 66%. The results showed that an appropriate geometrical adjustment improves the performance of the PHP under hypergravity conditions, as does a higher volumetric filling ratio.
