Geopolitics in the Western Balkans: linkages, leverages and gatekeepers

Abstract: With the end of the Cold War, Western Balkans countries have embraced the perspective of integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures, with the exception of Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina regarding accession in NATO.
