Germanium glass polyalkenoate cements for cranioplasty fixation

Abstract: Glass polyalkenoate cements (GPCs) have potential for skeletal cementation. Unfortunately, commercial GPCs all contain and subsequently release aluminum ions, which have been implicated in degenerative brain disease.
