Abstract: Hybrid composites between Germanium (Ge) and carbonaceous materials are promising anode materials for Li-ion batteries (LIBs). The mitigation of reduced cycling ability and rate capability allows for the unhindered benefit of higher capacities in Ge-based anodes.
