Abstract:Hedge cactus (Cereus uruguayanus R. Kiesling; syn. Cereus hildmannianus K. Schum.) is a columnar cactus that was introduced to Australia as an ornamental plant and has since become invasive in subhumid regions of Queensland and New South Wales.
