Getting published in Radiology: A Deputy Editor’s perspective

Abstract: In 2014 we were fortunate to receive 166 manuscripts from Japanese authors (i.e. the primary institution of the first author is in Japan) for consideration for publication in Radiology. Seventeen of the journal's original research papers were written by Japanese authors; this acceptance rate, 10.2 %, is in keeping with our general acceptance figure of 12 %.
