Abstract:The molecular selection of the genes influencing growth qualities can be used to genetically improve the production of native swamp buffaloes. Local swamp buffalo (60 hds.) maintained by smallholders in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, were examined for the genetic polymorphism of the growing family (GH, GHRH, and PIT1) genes.
