Abstract: Dysbiosis of gut microbiota is believed to be associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Ginsenoside compound K (CK), the main metabolite of Panax ginseng ginsenoside, has proven effective as an anti-inflammatory agent in IBD.
