Abstract:Chitosan (CH) films were prepared with/without glycerol as a plasticizer and coated with polycaprolactone (PCL) and cycloolefin copolymer (COC) to form bilayer films. The effect of the second layer coating on the physicomechanical properties of CH films was determined.
