Global chromosome topology and the two-component systems in concerted manner regulate transcription in Streptomyces

Abstract: Bacterial gene expression is controlled at multiple levels, with chromosome supercoiling being one of the most global regulators. Global DNA supercoiling is maintained by the orchestrated action of topoisomerases.
