Global governor-side damping controller for low frequency oscillation of power systems based on partial state feedback

Abstract: Low frequency oscillation (LFO) is harmful to power system security and stability. The traditional solutions for LFO are the power system stabilizer (PSS) with local or global signal implemented on the excitations.
