Abstract:We are concerned with global weak solutions to the isentropic compressible Euler equations with cylindrically symmetric rotating structure, in which the origin is included. Due to the presence of the singularity at the origin, only the case excluding the origin | x| ≥ 1 has been considered by Chen-Glimm [4]. The convergence and consistency of the approximate solutions are proved by using L ∞ compensated compactness framework and vanishing viscosity method. Moreover, if the blast wave initially moves outwards, … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
