Glucose Transporter Glut1-Dependent Metabolic Reprogramming Regulates Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Inflammation in RAW264.7 Macrophages

Abstract: This study investigated the critical role of Glut1-mediated glucose metabolism in the inflammatory response of macrophages, which are energy-intensive cells within the innate immune system. Inflammation leads to increased Glut1 expression, ensuring sufficient glucose uptake to support macrophage functions.
