Abstract:The synthesis of complex polycycles starting from simple building blocks in just a few reaction steps is usually very challenging. Herein, we present the gold(I)-catalyzed synthesis of various polycycles via dearomatization–allenene reaction of aryl propargyl ethers with different nucleophiles.
