Gossypiboma and Total Hip Arthroplasty – A Rare Accidental Finding Following a Periprosthetic Infection

Abstract: Introduction: Gossypiboma or textiloma is the technical term used to describe a surgical complication related to accidental retention of surgical material within the body, most often surgical swabs.
