Government efforts and shortcomings in elevating indigenous languages in South Africa over 30 years: A systematic review

Abstract: This systematic review examines the initiatives and challenges faced by the South African government in promoting indigenous languages following the end of apartheid. This study evaluates progress, identifies barriers, and offers recommendations for future policy and practice.
