The study aims to analyze interfaith relations in the Tobolsk province in the late 19th century and early 20th century, focusing on the interaction between the Orthodox population and representatives of other faiths. The paper analyzes the factors that influenced the formation of interfaith dialogue, reveals its peculiarities in different districts of the province. The scientific novelty of the study lies in identifying the peculiarities of interfaith relations in the context of the multi-ethnic and multi-confessional population of the Tobolsk province using a wide range of historical sources. As a result, the study has shown that interfaith relations in the region were characterized by both the complex interaction of different confessional groups and the existence of a certain tolerance. The article shows the main reasons that influenced the inter-faith situation in the period under consideration, including state policy, migration processes, as well as the existing interaction at the local level.
