GPRS based power quality monitoring system

Abstract: A cost effective scheme was proposed to realize real-time power quality monitoring for remote distribution system. The key point is to realize the communication between monitoring substations and monitoring centre. The communication can be carried out based on General Packet Radio Service (GPRS).
