Granulation tissue-type hemangioma of ureter: a highly misdiagnosed disease (a rare case report and literature review)

Abstract: Background Ureteral granulation tissue hemangiomas are rare benign vascular lesions, and they may be clinically asymptomatic or present with massive or recurrent hematuria. Sometimes hemangiomas are difficult to distinguish from malignant ureteral tumors, and most ureteral hemangiomas are confirmed by postoperative pathological examination.
