Granulized Z‐OWA aggregation operator and its application in fuzzy risk assessment

Abstract: The concept of granulized Z-numbers improves information utilization and manages the degree of uncertainty in decision-making. In this paper, a novel scoring method, namely, ordered weighted averagingbased expected granulized Z-number, a new aggregation operator, named, granulized Z-number-based ordered weighted averaging operator, and a novel fuzzy risk assessment scheme is proposed. The proposed scoring method is used to order the granulized Z-numbers and takes care of the possibilistic as well as probabilis… Show more

“…It is a theoretical and methodological expansion of the existing research work and is conducive to promoting the quality of emergency information and enhancing the efficiency of emergency information management. Compared with the existing emergency information quality assessment methods, such as simple weighted average [75], TOPSIS [9], etc., which do not consider the inherent multi-dimensionality of the assessment index system that requires partition aggregation nor the strong correlation between indices under the same dimension, the method proposed in this paper solves the above problems and has high adaptability.…”

“…Božanić [ 50 ] converted the Z-number into TFNs, combined the level-based weight assessment method and multi-attributive ideal-real comparative analysis method in camp location selection. Garg [ 51 ] also proposed a method to convert Z-numbers into granulated Z-numbers. Other scholars integrated the Z-number and MADM methods to improve the reliability of their studies.…”

“…Lu et al [17] proposed an improved similarity aggregation method based on the butterfly optimization algorithm to address the uncertainty problem of basic event failure probability in threedimensional EVAC systems and improve the accuracy of aggregation results. Garg et al [18] proposed a fuzzy risk assessment method based on the granularity Z-number to improve the utilization of information and the degree of uncertainty in management decisions. Feng et al [19] proposed a fuzzy importance sampling method to improve the computational efficiency of system failures with fuzzy uncertainty.…”
