Granuloma Inguinale

Abstract: Granuloma ingunale (GI) or donovanosis is a genital ulcer disease caused by theCalymmatobacterium granulomatis. It is a Gram-negative, facultative, obligateintracellular and pleomorphic bacterium. This bacterium has phylogeneticallyclosed to and placed within the Klebsiella genus.
