2D materials-based heterostructure has an abundant charge transport channel and shortened charge transport distance, which can realize the effective transfer and separation of photo-generated carriers. Herein, heterostructures of MoS 2 / graphene are fabricated for photocatalytic degradation under natural light. An excellent performance of methylene blue (MB) photodegradation is found, which surpassed the ability of the monomer materials of 2D MoS 2 and graphene. Furthermore, the optimal mass ratio of the precursors and the micromorphology of the as-constructed heterostructures are also confirmed.
