Abstract:The addition of nanoparticles in amine solutions to produce a stable amine-based nanofluid provides a high surface area for absorption and improves the absorption rate. In this work, nanofluids were prepared by dispersing graphene oxide (GO) in monoethanolamine (MEA) and ethylenediamine (EDA) solutions for adsorption of carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) to further improve their absorption performance by providing more reaction sites on the GO framework. GO was synthesized using the modified Hummers method and characteriz… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
