Gravitational couplings in $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 heterotic compactifications with Wilson lines

Abstract: In this paper we compute the gravitational couplings of the heterotic string compactified on (K3 × T2)/ℤN and E8× E8 and predict the Gopakumar Vafa invariants of the dual Calabi Yau manifold in presence of Wilson lines. Here ℤN acts as an automorphism on K3 associated with the conjugacy classes of M23 and a shift of 1/N on one of the S1 of T2. We study in detail the cases N = 2, 3 for standard and several non-standard embeddings where K3 is realized as toroidal orbifolds T4/ℤ4 and T4/ℤ3. From these computation… Show more

“…The Heterotic one loop computation involves an integration of the worldsheet complex structure over the fundamental domain that can be solved by the unfolding trick [59], which is more systematically implemented by the lattice reduction method of Borcherds [60,61]. Examples of these calculations can be found in [22,[61][62][63], as well as recent extensions to CHL-Heterotic orbifolds on (K3 × T 2 )/Z N [64][65][66]. In the perturbative Heterotic limit, the Borcherds lift calculation implies that F g (t,t) are automorphic forms under the T -duality group SO(2 + r, 2; Z).…”

“…The left-and right moving momenta can be obtained from the relations Note that here we choose the signs to match the conventions for the quadratic form of [18,22]. Based on the results from [64][65][66]118] we observe that the new supersymmetric index for Heterotic strings on (K3 × T 2 )/Z N factorizes as…”
