Green Catalytic Synthesis of the Pyrroles by N and P Functionalized Activated Carbon supported Ir

Abstract: Pyrroles are a significant class of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds and the derivatives. Here, an efficient procedure has been proposed for the loading of Ir on N, Pdoped activated carbon to exploit pyrroles are synthesized from alcohols and amino alcohols. And the optimal conversion of 1-phenylethanol is up to 65 % with 2-phenylpyrrole selectivity of 80 %.
