“…It was found that the process of Cr(VI) sorption is pH‐dependent and that the obtained biochars are more active in the range of pH 2–3. Because hexavalent chromium is discharged at a strongly acidic pH (Hashem et al, 2015), all further adsorption experiments were carried out at an industrially relevant pH of 2.5.
