Green fabrication of PHBV microbeads using a dimethyl isosorbide solvent for skin exfoliators

Abstract: PHBV microbeads were made in an eco-friendly way, and are eco-friendly, biocompatible, harmless to plants and aquatic organisms and degradable. They showed excellent skin cleaning efficiency, proving their potential to replace traditional petroleum-based microbeads.
