Abstract:Quantum dots (QDs) of I‐III‐VI2 ternary compounds, such as CuInSe2 (CISe) and CuInS2 (CIS), have broad application prospects as light‐absorbing layers in solar cells due to their excellent photoelectric properties. Nevertheless, the presence of large numbers of surface defects in quantum dots will affect their performance. In this study, inverted type‐I CdS/CISe core‐shell QDs are successfully synthesized through thermal injection method in triethylene glycol, which is green and safe. By changing the molar rat… Show more
Ternary copper indium sulfide (CIS) quantum dots (QDs) have been emerging as attractive alternatives to Cd- and Pb-based QDs in various applications owing to their favorable optical properties and low...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
