“Green” Synthesis of Metallic Nanoparticles by Sonoelectrochemical and Sonogalvanic Replacement Methods

Abstract: The main features of the “green” synthesis of metallic nanoparticles (MNPs) by the sonoelectrochemical methods are manufacturability, environmental friendliness, and the possibility of controlling the geometry of the forming particles. The electrochemical reduction technique allows efficiently designing the metal nanoparticles and provides the control of the content of components of bimetallic nanoparticles, as well as minimizing the number of precursors in working solutions. Due to the generation of turbulenc… Show more

“…However, positive results of the use of nanometals in aqueous solutions [63,64] can also be expected in the environment of organic aprotic solvents. e highest efficiency is manifested in the size of metal nanoparticles of several nanometers and especially nanoclusters [65,66], the synthesis of which is characterized by simplicity in the technological aspect [67]. •CO 2 = − 2.21 V according to [68] and − 1.97 V according to [58].…”

“…The antibacterial agents, in particular, include nanosized silver. 11 It is synthesized in various ways, 12 for instance, with the use of reducing agents, for example, polyvinylpyrrolidone, [13][14][15] electrochemically, 16 galvanic substitution, 17 etc. Recently, the method of obtaining nanoparticles and nanocomposites of silver in an ultrasonic field has often become widespread.…”

“…The sonogalvanic method is a relatively new direction in the synthesis of colloidal solutions of metal nanoparticles [20] . At the same time, it is practically not studied in terms of controllability of the MNPs formation.…”
