Abstract:In this study, a simple, low-cost, and environmentally friendly method for the green synthesis of ZnO/CuO nanocomposites (NCs) using parsley extract was developed. The phytochemical components in the parsley leaf extract reacted with precursor salts in solution and yielded ZnO/CuO NCs. The synthesis of the green-synthesized NCs was confirmed via various characterization techniques, including UV−vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (… Show more
“…1c). 17 The structural illustration of the synthesized material was further studied through the Rietveld analysis. Subsequent Rietveld refinement facilitated the identification of the phase fraction of CuO and ZnO.…”

A CuO-ZnO p-n heterojunction was found to be an unprecedented photocatalyst for the selective C2 trimerization of indole. Hetero-conjunction of monoclinic CuO with wurtzite lattice structure of ZnO was evident...

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
