Abstract: -Grid computing refers to a distributed architecture of a large number of computers connected to solve a complex problem. It allows the computers on the network to work on a task together, behaving like a supercomputer. The major advantage of grid computing is that it reduces the time taken to complete tasks, without increasing costs. This paper provides a brief introduction to grid computing.
