A survey was used as the preference assessment measure because it can include a multitude of stimuli and has been successfully devised to identify preferred items for adolescents and children (e.g., Cautela & Lynch, ; Jones, Mandler‐Provin, Latkowski, & McMahon, ; Resetar‐Volz & Cook, ).
