“…Early biochemical analyses of the protein components of ribosomes have been undertaken using 2D gels in the monocotyledon-ous plants wheat, barley, and maize and the dicotyledonous plants soybean, tomato, and tobacco (11)(12)(13)(14)(15)(16).
