Growth of Fe-Substituted Sr6Co5O15 Hexagonal Perovskite Single Crystals by a Flux Method

Abstract: We report a study on the growth of Fe-substituted Sr 6 Co 5 O 15 hexagonal perovskite single crystals, Sr 6 (Co 1−x Fe x ) 5 O 15 , by using the flux method. It is found that the optimal growth condition of single crystals is the precursors obtained by the solid-phase method, and the cooling rate is 1 °C/h within the temperature range of 930 (980 °C) to 800 °C (850 °C).
