Abstract:We discuss, using a recently proposed parametrization for the growth index of linear matter perturbations, the observational constraints on the wCDM model and the Dvali–Gabadadze–Porrati (DGP) model with all current growth factor data. We find that the wCDM model is allowed by the observations at the 1σ confidence level, while the DGP model is only consistent with observations at 2σ confidence level.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
