Abstract: Late watergrass [Echinochloa phyllopogon (Stapf) Koss.] has evolved multiple-resistance (MR) to herbicides in many areas worldwide and scientists wonder if this resistance has imposed fitness cost or advantage on the resistant (MR) biotypes.
