Abstract:PurposeInguinal hernia repair is one of the most frequently performed operations in general surgical practice. A variety of techniques have been used in the past with different results. The aim of the present study is to report our experience of inguinal hernia repair using the Kugel patch and to measure the frequency of postoperative recurrence and chronic groin pain.
